Asbestos Management Survey
A management survey is the standard survey. It is non-intrusive and its purpose is to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation, and to assess their condition.
Buying a House?
Asbestos removal requires trained personnel and can be very costly. Before you exchange on your new property ask the vendors permission for an Asbestos Survey.
This will provide you with the reassurance that you’re buying a suitable property for your family, or assist with negotiating the price considering any likely removal costs

Refurbishment Survey
A refurbishment survey is needed before any refurbishment work is carried out. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all ACMs in the area where the refurbishment work will take place. This allows you to ensure the area is safe to start work and to budget for either the removal of any Asbestos found or reassess the original design once all the information is available.
Targeted
This doesn't have to be the entire building and can be targeted to specific areas such as a Bathroom or a Kitchen, or to specific remodeling plans.

Demolition Survey
A Demolition survey is needed before a building is demolished. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all ACMs in the property to enable any Asbestos to be removed prior to the building being demolished.
Targeted
This doesn't have to be the entire building and can be targeted to specific areas such as an extension or garage building.
